It's always beach weather in Tenerife...

As you've probably heard before, Tenerife is well known as the island of eternal spring. It enjoys an incredible sub-tropical climate with beautiful mountain and coastal landscapes. The weather is unique all year round and its warm temperatures stay in the south of the island from January to December.

Teide National Park and
Stargazing Tour

The Teide National Park is where the magnificent Teide volcano sits. With an altitude of 3715 meters, rising 7,500m above the ocean floor, its summit is the highest peak in Spain. It is also the third highest volcanic structure and most voluminous in the world.

To make it even more interesting, Mount Teide in Tenerife has also been awarded the Starlight Certificate which recognises it is among the best places in the world for stargazing.

Stunning white and black sand beaches

Did you know the island has a coastline of 250 miles of which 40 miles are sand beaches? Yes, that's right!
The original colour of the beaches in Tenerife is black. This comes as the result of a volcanic basaltic coastline meeting the erosion of the sea. The current golden beaches that you will encounter across the island are man-made with sand brought to the island from the Sahara dessert. Playa de los Gigantes is a natural, black-sand beach at the base enormous cliffs in Tenerife. The locals call it Giant’s Beach due to the  rock formations which tower 800 metres above sea level.

Love a Hike? Perfect for the adventurer!

With plenty of hiking trails across the North and South of the island, you will have a vast range of options to choose from depending on your hiking experience level and skills. The most impressive routes are based on the Anaga rural park and the Teno mountains. The Anaga Park, a favourite of ours in the north of Tenerife, has some of the most stunning routes across the island with long walks across the enchanted forest or also options to enjoy breathtaking sea views as you hike down to a private beach. A must-visit is the hike to Pico del Teide (the highest peak in Spain), which is accessible by cable car if you are short on time.
